Reports Manager

The Reports Manager allows server based reports generated by the Integra applications to be viewed, printed, or saved as a text file. Reports can be displayed on screen where text can be selected for copying to third party applications. Reports can be printed in their entirety or selectively by page. They can be sent to a remote printer (the server print queue) for printing they or can be sent to your local printer in which case printing will be handled by your PC's print facilities.

Note User Settings can be used to withdraw access to this option or to set sorting defaults for columns.

Using the Reports Manager

  1. Select the Reports Manager option from Tools menu.

  2. Adjust the Results Per Page setting if required.

  3. Use the Open Files of Type drop-down list to choose the Integra application whose reports you wish to see then, once the report list has been retrieved, click the View button opposite the required report.

  4. Once the report is displayed, you can use the First, Previous, Next and Last buttons to call up other report pages.

  5. Use the Print Options command button to open the print options window, in which the print or save options for the report can be set.

  6. On the Print Options window, select the Local Printer radio button if you wish to use your PC’s default printer, or Server Queue if you want printing to be handled by the server. Click Local File if you wish to save the output as a text file.

  7. If you want all the pages on the report to be processed, select the All (Print Range) radio button; if you want to process a particular page or page range, select the Pages radio button and enter the page range in the From and To fields.

  8. If you selected the Server Queue radio button at Step 6, you can set the server options for the print job by specifying the number of report copies required, the print queue, and the form name if you have print services installed which retrieve a form name.

  9. Click the command button at the bottom of the page to proceed - the command button label will depend on your selection at Step 6...

    1. Print (Local Printer): If you selected Local Printer, the report output will be displayed in your Browser from where the Browser's printing facilities can be used.

    2. Submit (Server Queue):If you selected Server Queue, the job will be sent to the specified queue and a confirmation message will be displayed.

    3. Save (Local File): If you selected Local File, your Browser's file download facilities will be called, giving you the option of opening or saving the output as a text file.

  10. Click the Show Report button to return to Step 2 or the Back button to return to Step 4.

  Your Browser's find command can be used to search for a specified text string on a displayed report page - the Internet Explorer shortcut is Ctrl+F.
