Job Submission

The Job Submission window is a component of the SPC Server Process Controller, generally made available to all users of Integra to allow jobs to be submitted. Security may have been set to allow you to schedule the job or to add it to another batch. Security settings may also have been applied to restrict what you can do when submitting a job and may prevent you for example from printing reports or from sending notification emails.

Submitting the Job

  1. Click the Submit button to open the Job Processing window.

  2. Specify the Queue name, and the Date and Time at which you wish the process to be run.

  3. Check the Send Email box if required and enter the email address of the person who should be notified when the job has been completed.

  4. Check the Print Report box if you want a report to be printed and specify the printer which should be used.

  5. Click the Submit button to send the job to the SPCJOBS process - a message will advise you of the Job ID.

  6. You can enquire on jobs submitted using the SPC400 Job Enquiry.
