Some programs retrieve values automatically from the Security module. In some cases the values will be retrieved as amendable defaults but in others you may not be allowed to change them. The values passed may have been tailored by your Systems Administrator to suit each individual user.
The RSS Purchase Order Print program for example solicits a buyer code and a print queue and asks the program user to specify whether purchase orders already printed should be reprinted. Security settings however can be specified by your Systems Administrator which can pass different values for the Buyer Code and Printer Queue automatically depending on the username, along with a setting for the Ignore Printed POs indicator.
