System-wide diary facilities available with all Integra applications, allow diary entries to be tagged to individual transactions and also to records such as supplier and customer accounts. Integra parameter settings control how the facility is used - whether only live, active or complete diary records should be shown for example and whether the available diary records should be confined to a specified date range.
Once a transaction or record is selected by an enquiry program, related diary entries can be reviewed and new entries can be made.
1. Use the relevant Integra enquiry program to call up the transaction or record, and click the Diary button . (The number in brackets beside the button tell you how many diary records currently exist).
2. In the diary record window, click the View button in the Action column to call up an existing item: you can view notes and diary records and you can add new notes to existing diary records.
3. The button available above the Action column will allow you to add diary records or you can use the drop-down control to access a command which will allow you to add notes.
4. You can use the dates and status fields to flag diary entries for action by an entered deadline, and set them to lapse after a given interval; you can also assign them to a user other than yourself.
