Indicators on the System Parameters Packages tab are used to make JCL & FMS available generally within Integra. For each Integra application which is required to interface with JCL or FMS, a JCL and FMS Consolidation Table should be entered in the Source Code program. In the case of PRL the table name PRLJCLCON and PRLFMSCON respectively should be used.
JCL Job Codes and FMS Fleet Codes can then be entered as each line is updated and the F9 Lookup key can be used to search for valid codes. Default nominal codes will be retrieved for each code entered, but these can be overwritten if required. Several job codes and nominal codes can be attached to a single line, provided the line value is not exceeded.
If a code is entered, then in addition to the standard GL postings made to the PRL consolidation table for update to the Nominal Ledger, an additional set of postings will be made to the JCL and/or the FMS consolidation table for PRL. These will be one-sided postings of the item detail only - there are no control postings. They will use the standard Reserved Journal Types for PRL.
